Millennium Green was created up as our name suggests in 2000 to celebrate the start of the new century! Our main aim is to provide a special place for local people to relax and enjoy the fresh air.
The lockdown has stopped us from meeting, but we have managed to do a number of litter picks.
Millennium Green has a small play area and some lovely walks.
Over the years it has become a haven for local wildlife and there are longer walks leading onto the beautiful Horsted Valley.
Paths are hard surfaced for ease of access, and we have an arena for outdoor entertainment!
Now that we have started meeting again our first priority is to encourage a lot more local people to visit. We are just putting in some new signs and are planning various events for the next few months.
Despite the pandemic we have managed to meet up and get some serious litter picking done….
