Focus on… Gillingham Park

Gillingham Park is beautiful, mature urban park, hugely popular with the local community.

The Friends of Gillingham Park are a community group working for the welfare and improvement of our well-loved Edwardian Park.

There are hard surfaced walks, a play area, wildlife meadows and lovely mature trees.

The play area includes a slide and swings, equipment for toddlers, a trampoline and see-saw.

Two circular walks with hard surfacing take you past a winter garden and beautiful herbaceous beds and sculpture trail.

We have regular litter picks and hold a number of events throughout the year.

Toilets are nearby in Canterbury Street.
