We are delighted to announce that Medway has been awarded eight Green Flags plus a Heritage flag (for the Great Lines Heritage Park).

The Green Flag Award scheme recognises and rewards well managed parks and green spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of recreational outdoor spaces across the United Kingdom and around the world.

Each of Medway’s Green Flag award winning parks have something different to offer residents and visitors, from lakes, military history, woodlands, views of the River Medway and much more. These parks and countryside areas are maintained all year round to make sure that residents and visitors can enjoy them throughout the seasons.

Congratulations and a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers and of course the amazing team at Medway Council and Norse that help manage these wonderful parks and green spaces.
