You may be interested to know that Medway Council is consulting on a new Local Plan. The new Local Plan will guide the development and use of land in Medway up to 2041 and address the needs of our growing population.

Chapter 10 covers Health, Communities and Infrastructure, including open space.. Medway Council is seeking responses regarding the draft Open Space Assessment

The draft Medway Open Space Assessment identifies the need for new and improved open spaces.

Medway Council is keen to receive comments about the Open Space Assessment and the proposed policies.  The consultation closes at 11:59pm on Sunday, 8 September 2024.
