We can all do some simple things that are good for us and good for the planet.
Everything that Keep Britain Tidy does and everything they stand for can be summed up in a single phrase – Love Where You Live – and they want people, even in these difficult times to be able to share that love.

That is why they have launched a new online campaign – The #LoveWhereYouLive Challenge.

In the current climate, a lot of activities that the #LitterHeroes community usually do in the big wide world are not possible but that doesn’t mean that we can’t still love where we live.

How to get involved:

  • Pick a theme – some ideas include: your favourite recipe to reduce food waste; mending, repairing & upcycling things around the home; keeping in touch with people in need; home-schooling ideas; discovering nature in your garden; nifty & eco-friendly crafts …and many more – be creative!
  • Create some content – a short video, vlog, photo or illustration that shows how you’re making the most of your time at home and loving where you live.
  • Post your content to social media – tag a friend to get involved too and don’t forget to use the hashtag #LoveWhereYouLive as well as @KeepBritainTidy.
  • Once you’re done, try something else – you can get involved as many times as you like! Keep Britain Tidy will share their favourites.
