The National Garden Scheme gives visitors unique access to over 3,700 exceptional private gardens in England and Wales and are passionate about the physical and mental health benefits of gardens.

Since the early 1900s when the National Garden Scheme first started supporting district nurses, a total of £58 million has been raised for nursing and health charities through admissions, teas and cake.

Once a year, the scheme opens up gardens belonging to famous gardeners and enthusiastic amateurs alike but this year, in lieu of real-life visits, they have put together a fantastic series of virtual garden tours, showcasing some of the nation’s loveliest outdoor spaces and the Prince of Wales has recorded a special message of support:
