Welcome to I Spy July!

This is the time of year when everything is flourishing and here is just small sample of what you can see.

It is a hard and short life for many of our insects, especially the butterflies!

Our birds are busy raising their young ……

…..and you can find out all about them through the RSPB website.

Our Country Parks at Riverside and Capstone are now teeming with life.

Don’t forget to look along the path edges and road verges when you are out on your daily walk…..

Gardens and greenspaces

As we come out of lockdown we can start once more to enjoy meeting with friends, picnics and BBQs. We have learned how valuable our gardens and greenspaces are to the whole community, an opportunity to see some wildlife and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

There are many other insects which can be seen in our green spaces.
