The Bumblebee Conservation Trust are delighted to launch a new, fun FREE ‘What’s that bumblebee’ app, aimed at bumblebee-beginners to identify the ‘Big 8’ bumblebees! 🐝
Available via Apple Store (currently a featured app) or Google Play, users will get an extra ‘buzz’ through an augmented reality 3D function bringing a three-dimensional bumblebee queen to virtual life in the user’s own garden or living room.
Focusing on the most common bumblebees in the UK, the ‘Big 8’, the app offers a brief description of these eight species, and allows users to compare similar species side-by-side.
