Our colleagues at the Medway Swale Estuary Partnership (MSEP) are currently working with the Forestry Commission on a project looking at the management of the Oak processionary moth (OPM). As part of this work they are seeking volunteers to support monitoring by adopting an area close to where they live or work (ideally urban areas) to look for Oak processionary moth caterpillars during the months of May to July.
If this is something you think you might be interested in getting involved with or if you have any questions please click here to contact MSEP.
MSEP is a not-for-profit organisation, whose work is centred around the understanding, conservation and promotion of the estuary’s natural and cultural heritage. Further information can be found at www.msep.org.uk.
